Where does inspiration come from? How were some of the greatest creations in this world created? I’ll give you a hint, it didn’t start with the paintbrush hitting the paper. It didn’t start with the first word typed into the book, or the first piano key of the song. Where it really started, was with an emotion. One so great it had to be put out as an immortal piece. Not only then can it save us, but it can save others.
Art has many ways it impacts the physical and psychological world. Here are some examples to look over.
what impact consuming art has on the collective
- Inspiration: Consuming art can inspire people to create as well.
- Understanding: Consuming art from an artist with different perspectives can create a level of understanding.
- Education: Art can be created from history, facts, and information. Consuming art helps with gaining knowledge.
The impact creating art has on the collective
- Express: To demonstrate a idea, an experience, or an emotion into something impactful for the world to experience.
- Release: Creating art can be used as a physical form of releasing and processing difficult emotions.
- Aesthetics: Create beauty in this world from being surrounded by art (specific to paintings, murals, an any art form for that purpose).
- Community: With understanding, comes community. Creating art can help others connect with their similarities and differences.
Art and creation is a blessing in this life. Part of the human experience is not only to create, but to consume. Art is the outlet for human understanding.

Where Does Art Come From?
Take a peep at the name of this blog. How does alchemy, creation, and manifestation have to do with ecstasy and misery. Well, the human experience is a prerequisite for art. Without experiencing unconditional love and bliss, how can it be replicated? Without experiencing horror and suffering, how can understanding be created from it? Art comes from the past and the present of people and this planet. We are all one in the good and the bad. Art is an outlet for expression. Art is a mirror to the internal and external world.
So how do you create art? The real answer is what lingers in your mind. What is it that consumes you? What is a emotion, experience, or idea that you can’t shake? Good news, you’re halfway there. The idea is there, now it’s time to bring it into this world!
How the Greats Used Alchemy to Create Masterpieces.
- Dostoevsky (Author of Crime and Punishment): His novels stemmed from his questioning of morality through his time in prison.
- Greta Gerwig (Director of Lady Bird): A coming-of-age film based on her personal experiences with girlhood.
- Freda Kahlo: Her paintings inspired by her relationship with her husband and her miscarriages.
- Yayoi Kusama: Her visions while struggling with schizophrenia.
This is just a few examples of artists creating from their ecstasy, and their misery.
What is Alchemy?
Alchemy, defined in the dictionary as:
“The medieval forerunner of chemistry, concerned with the transmutation of matter, in particular with attempts to convert base metals into gold or find a universal elixir.”
Or to put into mystic terms:
” A seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination.”
Alchemy is a spiritual process as much as it is a physical. That’s why the idea is half the project. Just creating an idea from a personal experience is the same as turning metal into gold. If a fictional story stems from a memory, or a symphony from an emotion, that is transformation at its finest. It’s magic in a dull world.
What is Important About Creating the Art?
Now you’ve got the idea, it’s time to put it into motion. Once you’ve completed the work and put in the time, and your creation is out for the world, what makes it important? Well, all art, no matter what, has a spot in the world, because it couldn’t have been created without it already existing in this world and others lives. Here are some examples of how your art can change the world.
- Inspire others in their personal life to make a change
- inspire others to create as well
- To introduce new ideas and experiences to people who haven’t experienced them
- To help people struggling feel understood and not alone in their experience.
Art is the backbone to the human experience. Without it, connection would be lost.
The Purpose of this Blog
Through thick and thin, I’ve discovered the key to life is to create and consume with intention. Through alchemizing life experience into art, the human experience lives on forever.
I also write about manifestation and growing into a higher version of oneself through alchemy.
Throughout this life, creating something from the ecstasy and misery is vital. Transmuting dragging emotions into something that inspires, educates, and brings understanding to the world.
